April 18, 2017 – Exploring Kathmandu!
Ang Temba and our team spent an exciting day exploring all the important and historical sites of Kathmandu.
Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the oldest and most glorious shrines in the world and is listed as a World Heritage Site. Boudhanath Stupa , also a World Heritage Site, is the largest stupa in the Valley and one the most important Buddhist shrines in the world.
They also visit the Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple, located on the banks of the Bagmati River, in the eastern part of the Kathmandu Valley.
And the guys topped it all off with a bit of shopping and perusing in Thamel, Kathmandu’s famous trekking district.
Up early tomorrow for the flight to Lukla!
