Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak) Dispatches
Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak)
April 8 – 26 2017
Designed exclusively for David Cohn
Dave Cohn is returning to Nepal for another mountain adventure! Join him, Min Bahadur and the rest of the Berg Adventures team as they trek through the famous scenery of the Annapurna Sanctuary and then make a summit attempt on 5,663m Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak). Dave and his crew will walk through old growth rhododendron forests and visit traditional villages along the way.
The mountain views on this trip will be superb. Annapurna, Machapuchare, the “Fish Tail”, Hiunchuli and Gangpurna will all tower above the trail. The team will attempt the classic Northwest Ridge of Tent Peak, which was climbed by the iconic adventurer Col. Jimmy Roberts in 1956.
Tune in to our daily dispatches as we report their experiences along the way!
