April 13, 2017 – Made it to Chomrong

Dispatch by David Cohn
We started from Tolka at 7:30 am and arrived in Chomrong at 2:30 pm after lots of sustained up and down. Min called the trekking similar to Namche Hill in the Everest Region. We met Jangbu, our climbing guide and 4 porters; from now on we will all travel together. At this time of the year there is a lot of haze in the valleys which obscures the views of the Annapurna.

Over 2000 steps to Chomrong! The Annapurna version of the Namche Hill ( Everest region)
