October 12, 2015 – Busy Day in Namche Bazaar
Here we are in Namche. The land of comfortable lodges, hot showers, and for us - electric blankets and electric washers and dryers for our clothes.
We were welcomed to Panorama lodge by Sherap Jonbu and his new 7-month old grandson, Sherap Ongel.
Gord got right into the tech opportunities at Panorama lodge and called home.
And wireless internet of course!
Then we went shopping, Leah leading the way!
The normally busy streets of Namche were somewhat quiet on Monday.
Rob went shopping - he had been looking for some warm comfortable pants and he found just the thing.
The Mountain Hardware shop had exactly the puffy pants that Leah had recommended.
You can only shop for so long, we came into a nice coffee shop to warm up... Namche is chilly today!
