Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch
October 9, 2015 – Landed in Lukla
We are off to a great start, left Kathmandu on the first flight and landed in Lukla at 6:55am.
It was tough leaving Kathmandu, between the North Face store and Alison and Leah at the Pashmina shops, we were all over town.
We were blessed by a Holy Man
But it was all worth it, we were able to leave on the very first flight to Lukla

After about 1 1/2 hour on the trail we stopped here for tea – by a beautiful waterfall along the lower trail out of Phakding
