August 21, 2015 – Decision is Made to do Another Peak Climb First

Cerro Austria- our first acclimatization climb

Hello, this is Osvaldo calling from Condoriri Base Camp. It is Friday, August 21. Today was another awesome day. It was windy, but we had clear skies and plenty of sun.

We decided to take a few more days here in the wonderful place to make sure everyone gets good acclimatization. So today we are going to climb to Pico Austria (5396 meters) and then tomorrow we will go to Pequeno Alpamayo (“Little Alpamayo”).
