October 30, 2014 – A Great Day to Lobuche

Ang Temba called the office this morning to report that the team has arrived in Lobuche.

After a great rest day in Pheriche yesterday the team woke up early this morning ready to move higher into the Khumbu. The weather was once again beautiful which made hiking up to through Dhukla and onto Lobuche very enjoyable.

The team arrived in Lobuche in the afternoon and settled into their lodge at 15,000 feet.

We stopped for lunch in the small village of Dhukla.

We watched many porters carrying such heavy loads.
