October 25, 2013 – Another Beautiful Day in Namche
The weather continues to be perfect!
First thing this morning we went to the National Park Viewpoint, a five minutes’ walk above our rooms at Panorama Lodge.
There we saw a grand site: Lhotse, the forth highest mountain in the world rose before us up the Khumbu Valley, to the left and slightly behind was Everest itself. As you can see from the photos, the sky is still perfectly clear.
It is always great to wake up in a room knowing that you do not have to pack up and leave. Today was a relaxing day spent looking around Namche (always interesting!) and enjoying the comforts of Panorama Lodge.
