August 27, 2013 – Enjoying Base Camp and Getting Excited to Summit Sajama

Hello this is Osvaldo calling from the base camp of the Sajama Mountain. Today was quite a short walk. We started by 11:30 and arrived by 1:00, so we walked for one and a half hours today.

Alain is doing well and he is very excited to go to the top. I can say the weather is better today, no wind, plenty of sun and clear skies. Hopefully the weather will be like this when we go to the top. So now we are setting up the campsite so everything is okay and we will keep you updated tomorrow.
