August 22, 2013 – Alain Summits Pequeño Alpamayo
Message From the Office
We spoke with the team today and they reported that Alain and Osvaldo summited Pequeno Alpamayo this morning around 9 am. They said that the climb went really well and that Alain was in really good shape.
Situated in the Condoriri Valley, Pequeno Alpamayo at 17,618ft/5,370m is an impressive peak and an excellent climb to gain some great mountaineering experience. This glaciated mountain offers a moderate slope with some semi-technical steps. Alain’s climb towards the summit would be complete with magnificent views surrounding him.

Alain and Osvaldo began their climb very early in the morning.

It is beautiful to watch the sun rise above these massive peaks.

Alain is gaining some great mountaineering skills while climbing Pequeno Alpamayo.

A great place to stop and enjoy the surroundings
