August 15, 2013 – We Love Cappadocia
We first arrived here bright and early this morning when we met Suat Ulusay, who has been flying balloons over Cappadocia for 25 years and who personally flew our balloon this morning.
Wow.... Cappadocia is hard to describe and constantly surprises us. What a place.
We left our hotel at 4:55 AM this morning and it has been nonstop since. Now it is 6:00 PM.

We arrived at Royal Balloon very early in the morning and Berg Adventures was the first name on the board.
We were the first balloon to take off, just as the sun was rising and it was incredible.
Our pilot Suat Ulusay was an amazing pilot and guide. He has been flying balloons for over 25 years in Cappadocia and he showed us an amazing time.
One of the perks of being the first balloons out in the morning is flying through beautiful pink skies.
There is no need to wonder why these balloon rides are so popular in Cappadocia; the views are phenomenal!
It was so great to view Cappadocia from a different angle.
