July 24, 2013 – A Great Summit Attempt
Good morning this is Osvaldo calling from the base camp if Condoriri. Today was our summit attempt at the Head of the Condor but unfortunately it was really hard conditions. There has been a lot of snow on the mountain, it’s about 3-4 meters deep, and so we decided to come down. These guys are doing well but unfortunately the mountain is saying no.
We are getting ready for our next climb which will be Ancohuma, Today we will go straight down to Sorata where we are going to spend one rest day and then after that we will go back to the mountains.
