Bolivia Expedition Dispatch
July 15, 2013 – On Route to Copacabana
Message from the office:
Today we received word from our trip leader Osvaldo that team is on its way to Copacabana, a city on the edge of the Lake Titicaca. The team is just waiting for one of Joe’s duffel bags to be picked up from the airport; the guides will be picking it up for him today.
Copacabana is a small Bolivian town on the shore of Lake Titicaca. As the largest town along the lake Copacabana is a popular tourist destination in Bolivia. Joe and Martin have travelled along the “Journey of Peace” to reach 12,600 feet, a culturally beautiful way to acclimatize.
