October 30, 2012 – Lukla and Kathmandu: Some Images from the Final Days of Our EBC Trek, Part I

The happy end of a long trek: we waited for one another at the entrance to Lukla on when we arrived. It was bittersweet to think that our trekking life was coming to an end

The coffee shops and bars of Lukla beckoned.

On the busy street in Lukla we met some old friends from along our trekking trail to Everest.

It was still chilly as we sat in the outdoor cafes at the end of our trail. Tina hood came in handy.

The lodge where we spent our final night had a great library of Everest books.
