Brendsel's Island Peak and Lobuche Peak Expedition Dispatch

November 9, 2008 – Michael and Leland Summit Lobuche Peak!

Hello, this is Temba calling from Lobuche High Camp. Today Michael and Leland made the summit of Lobuche Peak! They are both doing very well. We are just back to camp and everyone is very tired since it was a 17 hour trip to the summit and back!

We will spend the night here at High Camp and enjoy the evening. Congratulations to these guys, they both did great on a very hard mountaineering day. Talk to you again soon!
