Brendsel's Island Peak and Lobuche Peak Expedition Dispatch
November 8, 2008 – Michael and Leland Enjoy Sherpa Stew at Lobuche High Camp
This is Temba calling from Lobuche High Camp at 17,000 ft. Michael and Leland are both doing very well. We just had a traditional dinner of Sherpa stew. Sherpa stew is made with potatoes, vegetables and meat. We think it is great food for the mountain!
Tomorrow we will get up early at about 2:00 am and then we will start out at 3:00 am to climb up to Lobuche peak. Weather is still amazing. Wish us luck! Talk to you again soon.
