October 11, 2008 – Team Makes the Journey to Namche
Hello all, this is Temba! We are here in Namche and are having a great time. We finally flew in to Lukla and it was an amazing flight.
From Luka we went to Phakding and the journey was spectacular. We arrived at about 3:00 pm or so and of course had some tea. Phakding was a great stay, mostly because we all had hot showers. The view from our window was a beautiful river and amazing mountains around.
We left there the next day at about 8:00 am after a great breakfast and made the journey to Namche. The trek was tough but it was well worth it once we arrived. The town is situated in a valley. Tomorrow we hope to see the surrounding peaks. Bye for now!
