Machu Picchu is undoubtedly one of the premier adventure destinations in the world. Join Richard, Hannah and Christine Clark, along with Wally Berg as they take in culture, history and scenery of Peru’s Sacred Valley, Cusco and the mysterious, beautiful ruins at Machu Picchu.
The team will be doing the high, remote Lares trek, going to elevations over 12,000ft before descending to the upper Amazon to visit the ruins. Once arriving at Machu Picchu they will spend the night at the only lodge on the premises. The Sanctuary Lodge
Check here for what will see surprising and varied photos of the adventure. It’s hard to describe, Inca’s, guinea pigs, high mountains, plunging jungle slopes, trains, roads, tails, traditional village life and some luxury from time to time along the way.
