Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch
April 24, 2018 – Rest Day at Pheriche, 14,300 above Sea Level
Before leaving the village of Pangboche, Temba, Jack and Scott were blessed by a llama at the Pangboche Monastery.
It is not a far walk from Pangboche to the teams next stop, the old Yak grazing site of Pheriche, which for years now, has been a center of activity for both climbers and trekkers.
Our team will spend two nights in Pheriche in order to acclimatize well before they push to higher altitude.
Pheriche is a beautiful high Himalayan location. These photos will show what it is like there.
