
Patagonia: Torres del Paine Expedition Dispatch
February 21, 2018 – Perito Moreno and Torres del Paine
The past two days our team have been really busy.
Yesterday they left El Chalten and spent the night in El Calafate where they visited Perito Moreno, a glacier situated in the Los Glaciares National Park. Definitely one of the most spectacular and unforgettable excursion in Patagonia.
Today they started their drive towards Torres del Paine. Stopped at the Argentina-Chile border and right after customs they decided to take a break and have lunch at the Café “El Ovejero”.
They finally arrived at their mountain lodge resort at 5:30pm. Just enough time for a quick briefing, take advantage of tomorrow’s rest day and sign up for one of the several excursions offered by the lodge. Not exactly a rest day!

Although tomorrow is our rest day, every one decided to take advantage of the several excursions offered by the lodge.

The lodge’s horses. Bev and Cliff are planning to go horseback riding tomorrow. Their daughter loves horses and they are looking forward to describe what is like to ride in Patagonia.
