May 11, 2017 – Whirlwind Trip Down Khumbu Valley to Kathmandu
After Mark and Chris’s successful trek to Base Camp and Summit, the pleasures of places like Namche Bazar, Lukla and Kathmandu were even more enjoyable the second time around.
It is a bittersweet feeling to walk through such beauty and have to say goodbye to now great Sherpa friends. We congratulate the entire team on a rich 3-week Nepal experience.
Mark, Jyeta and Chris back where the trekking all started, Lukla.
Paradise Lodge in Lukla makes for a great place to hang at the end of the trek (and hope the plane makes it!)
Saying goodbye
Saila and the rest of the porters were honored to serve Mark and Chris these three weeks.
With Ang Temba back in Kathmandu at the “Roadhouse” and other great restaurants were waiting to be enjoyed.
A walking trip to Kathmandu’s Durbar Square was the last day in Nepal activity
Farewell to Temba at Kathmandu’s International Airport
