January 2, 2017 – The Team is Arriving in Mendoza Argentina

Sunny summertime Mendoza Argentina seems an unlikely place to begin a big mountain climb. But generations of Aconcagua climbers have learned to love arriving at the airport there, walking the green shaded streets past plazas and enjoying the summertime weather south of the Equator.

It is the “port of entry’ for the America’s greatest mountain, Aconcagua. Osvaldo has been meeting the climbers as they arrive and along with Sergio and Maria they are working hard to get everything ready to go. This is exciting!
