Why climb with Berg Adventures

Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch

April 17, 2016 – After 30 Hours Flights – We Finally Made it to Kathmandu!

Mark has been planning this trip for the past 11 years, since he was last in Nepal, with Berg Adventures in 2005. Finally the dream has come true.

Mark, we like calling him “Garv” here at BAI, where we have considered him a close friend since his first trip to Nepal, and his daughter Kylie made it to Doha first where they spent the night at a hotel inside the airport.

The next morning they finally took their last connecting flight to Kathmandu. They are now at the Yak and Yeti enjoying “Kathmandu life”.

We first met Garv on Spring 2005 when he joined our Everest Base Trek to Nepal
