Patagonia: Torres del Paine Expedition Dispatch
November 01, 2015 – A Recap of Doug and Andrew Welland’s trip to Torres del Paine

Meeting Claudio Bravo, one of our guides in Puerto Natales

On our transfer from Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine National Park, we visited a Chilean National Monument, Cueva del Milodón or “Cave of the Milodón” (an extinct animal).

Andrew at the entrance of the cave posing next to a Milodon. The cave is approximately 656 ft. (200m) long; 95ft. (29m) high and 396ft. (121 m) wide, it descends for some 65ft. (20 m) from the entrance level.
