Ojos del Salado Expedition Dispatch

February 23, 2015 – The Team is at Atacama Base Camp

Osvaldo called into the office to report that the team has arrived at Atacama Base Camp.

He says everyone is doing very well and they are happy to be at Base Camp at 17,400ft/5,300m.

The weather is great yet again. They have clear skies and only a little bit of wind.

Osvaldo also wanted to check and see how the weather is looking for the next couple of days so that they can plan for their summit attempt.

Tomorrow they have an acclimatization hike up to High Camp and they will keep us updated.
