Aconcagua Expedition Dispatches
Berg Adventures 2014 Aconcagua Expedition
January 11 – 31, 2014
Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in the world outside the Himalayas, has long been a mountain of intrigue to climbers. As one of the Seven Summits, Aconcagua, standing at 6,962m (22,841ft), is one of the most underrated climbs in the world. Every year climbers come from all over the world to be tested by the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere. Our group of international climbers will spend three weeks in Argentina where they will be rewarded with an introduction to the challenges of expedition climbing while attempting to reach the summit of the Americas.
Follow our team every step of the way as they climb in the hopes of reaching the top of Aconcagua.
