Berg Adventures 2013 Everest Expedition Dispatch

May 17, 2013 – News from the Summit!

Exciting news from our Everest team! After a very challenging day with high winds, Steve and Dawa Nuru reached this summit at 7:10am local time and Todd and Tashi arrived at 7:30am. The two teams soldiered on despite the conditions. It took them over 12 hours of climbing to reach the summit. Daniel and Tsering turned back early this morning, spent a few hours resting at the South Col and are currently on their way down the mountain.

We will keep you updated as our teams head down the mountain and will let you know when they are back to their camps. Congratulations to everyone on the Berg Adventures team!
