Everest Expedition Friends and Family Base Camp Trek Dispatch
March 29, 2013 – An Early Morning Visit to National Park Viewpoint
It was a good night's sleep. We slept in a bit this morning since we will be spending two nights here in Namche. Our morning wake-up tea and coffee was served at 7:00 AM, instead of 6:30.
Before breakfast we walked a short distance to the National Park overlook where Everest is often visible. It is still a bit cloudy, so we haven’t seen Everest yet.
The views of some of the other peaks were amazing however.
Our view of Kwangde, to the west, was awesome.
