Aconcagua Expedition Dispatch

January 18, 2012 – On Our Way to Confluencia Camp

We awoke to another clear blue sky and today is our day to leave for the mountain. Our duffel bags have all been loaded up on the mules and those bags will follow us to Confluencia Camp where we will sleep tonight. We have enjoyed our last night at the hotel ; they have treated us great here and it has been a great home at 8,500ft/2,590m. Now it is time to move higher, so here we go!
