December 8, 2010 – Sitting on the Top of Antarctica

The summit is in sight.

Greetings from the Berg Adventures office! John, Kate, Pachi, Wally and, of course, Flat Stanley departed high camp for the summit at 5:00 am mountain time. The climb generally takes 12 grueling hours. At 4:06 pm mountain time, we received a phone call from Wally. All we could hear was cheering and strong winds before we lost the connection.
