LaQuishia Stone and the Hanesbrands Team EBC Trek Dispatch
April 26, 2010 – The Team Hikes from Phakding to Namche
We had a great flight yesterday from Kathmandu to Lukla which took about 35 minutes. We hiked to Phakding for lunch and everyone was doing very well and were very excited for the trek. It certainly helped that the weather was so nice!
Today we started from Phakding in the morning. It was a beautiful day and we crossed the Dudh Kosi river four times and had lunch at Jorsale. Everyone is doing well. They are very tired but we still made it up to Namche in very good time. Now everyone is resting and tomorrow morning, if the weather is good, we will visit the Everest viewpoint and maybe do some shopping, go for a massage and enjoy Namche.
