Wilderness Medicine Conference at Everest Base Camp Dispatch

October 19, 2009 – Team is off to Kathmandu

This is Temba calling you from Lukla. The team left this morning on their plane back to Kathmandu.

After a fun shopping day at the Market in Namche we made our way down to Phakding then to Lukla for a farewell dinner with all of the Crew, doctors and everyone who was a part of the Wilderness Medical Conference trek to Base Camp.

This was a really fun and informative trip. Soon many will be catching their international flights back home. We welcome them back to Nepal and the Khumbu again soon!
