March 29, 2009 – Return to Kathmandu and Memories of Bhutan

On Sunday Temba, Edouard, Kit, Bob, Janet and Jim flew back to Kathmandu from Paro where they were welcomed back “home” to the comforts of the Yak and Yeti Hotel for one night. This team is “just getting started.” They will make the flight to Lukla tomorrow to begin their journey along the historic trails of the Khumbu Valley to Everest Base Camp.

The people, color, natural beauty and culture of that magical Himalayan Kingdom, Bhutan will remain with this group as they continue their Himalayan adventure. Watch their Everest Base Camp dispatches in coming days for more great stories and photos.
