Returning to the huts after long climbs became routine for us on this trip
BAI guides Oswaldo and Juancho came from Bolivia to work on this trip in the National Parks of Ecuador
Our high altitude climbs were staged from surprisingly comfortable mountain lodges
A spotting scope at Tambopaxi Lodge allowed
us to follow other climbers on Cotopaxi
At the higher huts, Leila and the guys cooked. We had pizza at 5,000 meters!
Climbing high on the volcanoes always brought us fabulous views
