November 4, 2008 – Spectacular Views of Everest, Lobuche and Makalu
Hi, this is Temba calling from Gokyo. Today we crossed Renjo Pass and the view was marvelous. We saw the giant peaks of Everest, Lobuche and Makalu. Then we came down to Gokyo to spend the night. Tomorrow we are heading to Thangnak which is about a couple of hours from here. Everybody is doing great!
As our team descends down into Gokyo, they get an awesome view of Gokyo Lakes and the surrounding region. The small village of Gokyo can be seen here in the lower left corner
