Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch

October 26, 2008 – Final Dispatch, Part I

We have gotten telephone calls from Ang Temba and messages from the team members as they returned to Kathmandu at the end of their memorable trek. Jerome sent this message and some of his photos.

Hello Tracy…. Well, our trip is coming to an end and what an experience it was! I just have to say that organization and local staff were top notch. I have seen many disgruntled trekkers along the trail on this trip, but our experience was very different than theirs, it was perfect! Today we said goodbye to the Root family and tomorrow I will say goodbye to Rick and Mitchell. On Monday I will leave for Singapore and three nights of fun – a vacation after a vacation you might say. One thing for sure, I’ll be back. I will plan another Berg Adventure in the near future. This was a blast.
