Why climb with Berg Adventures

Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch

May 19, 2008 – Making our way back down to Namche!

Leaving Pangboche a couple of days ago,

This is Tracy reporting just after lunch on Monday May 19, 2008. We are just sitting on the other side of Pangboche Hill on the way to Namche and I first have to say that the Berg Adventures staff in Nepal has blown us all away as usual. Min, Neru, Ang Temba and Wally, of course, have shown us all a wonderful time and have been with us every step of the way. They always offered us helped whenever we needed it. We never felt pressure and they have just been wonderful staff.

We started the morning off with clear blue skies with the last views of Ama Dablam and Everest. We made our way through the forest up towards Pangboche with the birds singing and the river rushing, it was a beautiful walk up as we got to the other side of Pangboche up the hill. As we headed up for lunch we were surprised to have a picnic set up in the grass fields with the beautiful view of Ama Dablam.

We just finished lunch making our way to Namche to have hot showers and a beautiful meal and our second last night in the Khumbu Valley.
