Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch
April 18, 2008 – Reflecting on our past few weeks
Back in Kathmandu, we are slowly getting to decompress from our Himalayan adventure. The reflection process will take a long time as the experiences behind us are complex and perspective-altering. We saw up close the highest point on the planet, and got to live in one of the most remote and unique areas in the world for two weeks. From the fascinating people we met to the daily physical challenges we faced, each moment of our trek will be remembered.
Seeing other trekking groups in the mountains made us appreciate the top to bottom effort from the Berg Adventures team. Guides Ang Temba and Min Badur are an excellent team, and the whole team was hard-working and friendly. Two weeks in the Khumbu is a challenging and demanding undertaking, and we were very lucky to have the support we received from the Berg team. Thank you very much from the four of us!
