Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch
February 7, 2015 – Hakuna Matata from the Hong Kong Group

Enjoying the view of Lava Tower
Hakuna Matata from the Hong Kong team. We are sitting up in fog here on Kilimanjaro and enjoying the view of the Lava rock right now. We are approximately 200m above our camp right now. The journey so far has led us about 6 km on a slightly easier day then it has been before but we still gained 460m. It is coolish with some showers. We are looking at some cumulus clouds looking over top of us. Rob is sleeping in the tent while we are enjoying some cheese we got from camp below us. We are at 4,800m.
Our word of the day: super-duper from Shaka Zulu. Anyways this is the dispatch for our 4th day; it’s been a great day. We are well fed and we keep telling Herman we are going to gain weight on this adventure.
We are looking forward to tomorrow when we will climb the Baranco wall.
All the best from Kilimanjaro. Bye now!
