Berg Adventures Mount Kilimanjaro Climb and Safari
Lemosho Traverse , January 17 – February 4, 2013
Join Berg Adventures, Robert Catallo, Bill Kuchulis and Bob McCarrick to Africa’s highest point, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Towering at 19,340ft (5,895m), this stand-alone mountain has claimed its place as one of the Seven Summits. We invite you to join their climb as we document their journey through our daily dispatches. This team will voyage through the plains of Tanzania, to the tropical rainforests and dry alpine deserts, and the glacial artic conditions of the mountain.
After their climb, Robert will head back to his home country of Brazil, and share about his experience with loved ones firsthand. Bill and Bob will be joined by Terri Bakken and Mairin McCann, and journey towards the majestic plains of Tanzania on an action-packed six-day safari. Their mission (aside from relaxing and taking in the natural beauty), is to locate and admire Africa’s big five along with all the other diverse wildlife this continent has to offer.
