Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

February 11, 2015 – Descending the Mountain

Hello, this is Herman. I am calling from Kilimanjaro.

Today we woke up at Crater Camp. Vera and Rob went to the summit for the second time this morning at the sunrise. They also went to Stella Point to watch the sunrise.

So far everyone is doing great . We descended to High Camp and stopped for lunch and then all the way to Mweka Camp. Now we are at Mweka camp at 3,100m. Everyone is happy having reached the summit and now they are happy to be down here.

We are looking forward to tomorrow to descend to the Mweka gate. We will give you more updates on the expedition.
