January 10, 2013 – Monkey Business on the Safari

Hi, it’s Janet; we’re on our first day of the three-day safari with Berg Adventures. We just arrived at Tarangire National Park. I had a little encounter with one of the monkeys. He tried to steal a bag full of souvenirs that I bought, and one of those had some nice earrings in it so I was a little worried. I guess my spooked face scared him away though-he dropped the bag and ran… anyway, good to be here. We’re having hot weather. So far so good, we’re having lots of fun! I just wanted to say hi to Dickson, Aaron, and Brittany, Grace, everyone else and we’ll talk to you later, bye!

Hello everybody! Especially hi to Cynthia and the ladies on your way to Vegas! Janet’s had a little excitement here at the park, but beautiful, sunny day and we are supposed to see some mountains this afternoon and it’s been amazing at the Sopa Lodge, so hopefully we can do another dispatch tomorrow and tell you our experience.
