January 1, 2013 – Off to the Mountain in Song and Dance
Part I
Hey! I’m having a great time; we start our day every morning with a dance before we hike and we end our day at night with another dance and song after we’re finished. And they’re treating us very well at Berg Adventures; we’re having a great time! So far we’re heading just short of Shira Camp at about 12,000ft (3,658m) or so and no signs of altitude sickness. Doing well, here’s Janet!
Hi! We’re doing great, having an awesome time. We love the guides, and the porters, and the kitchen staff, they’re all so great. They’re treating us like royalty and we’re loving it, every minute of it. Even the rain is good; we’re not too upset about it. Glad we’re here, feeling great and we’re hoping things just carry on as they are, bye-bye!
