Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

January 30, 2012 – Summit Success on Kilimanjaro!

Hello, this is Rafael dispatching from Kilimanjaro. Today is Monday and we are just coming down from the Crater. We are happy to report that we summited Uhuru Peak on Kilimanjaro yesterday and stood on top of Africa at 19,340ft/5,895m. We had a great time in the crater and walked around a bit after our summit. We had an interesting night in the high camp, it was a little cold, but we loved it. We keep getting the royal treatment from Berg and the crew. We are just coming down now. Everything is well and we are having an awesome time. Cheers.
