Aconcagua Expedition Dispatch

January 31, 2012 – The Team Returns to Mendoza

The team had a long hike out from Plaza de Mulas down the Horcones Valley today. By 6:30pm, everyone had reached the trailhead where their ride back to Mendoza was waiting for them. They have a 3 to 4 hour drive to reach Mendoza where they will spend the night. Everyone is really looking forward to a hot shower and to a good night’s rest at the Park Hyatt.

Tomorrow the team will be exploring some vineyards in Mendoza and we expect they will also send us photos from their epic climb that we will share in the dispatches in the coming days. Great job team!
