Aconcagua Expedition Dispatch

January 30, 2012 – A Return to Plaza de Mulas

Hello from the Berg Adventures Office. The team has returned to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp today. They are all resting and enjoying the thick air after being at altitude. The entire team did so well on the mountain and we commend them all on a great climb. No other team has managed to make the summit in the last few days and we anticipate that no one will until the 3rd when the winds are forecasted to settle down.

The logistics are all in place for the team to return to Mendoza tomorrow. The mules are ready, the vehicle has been arranged and the hotel awaits with hot showers and comfortable beds.
