August 24, 2009 – Chris Receives Her Permit and Heads to Rongai Route

Hello, it’s Chris calling. I’m at the Marangu Gate today where we got our permit. I’m doing well and I’m adjusting to the time difference. The jet lag is almost gone. We will continue our 4.5 hour drive around Kilimanjaro to get to Rongai and start climbing from there tomorrow.
