March 17, 2009 – Team Arrives at Shana Zamp Camp
Hello this is Temba calling you from Shana Zamp Camp. Today we drove about 20 minutes and then started our trek from Drugyel Dzong.
We first loaded our gear and then walked to camp along the Paro Chhu River. We crossed bridges and passed through a couple of small villages along the way.
Now we are at camp which is on the river side and it’s very beautiful. We walked a total of 6 hours today and our elevation is 9,400 ft.
