Bhutan Trip Dispatch

March 18, 2009 – Team Reaches Thangthangkha

Hello everyone, this is Temba calling you from Thangthangkha at 12,467 ft./3,800 m.

Today we walked for about 8 hours. We followed along the Pachu River and walked through the pine forests, crossing bridges along the way. We enjoyed our lunch beside the river.

Last night we had a light snow storm but once we reached the camp today we had more snow. Everyone was really happy to see the snow as it makes things here very beautiful.

Everyone is tired now as it was a long day of trekking but we are all doing really well.

Talk to you again soon!
