February 24, 2015 – These Guys are Very Strong

Hello, this is Osvaldo calling from the Refugio shelter. We are here at 5,840m.

These guys are very strong. We have been going for quite a while. We started at 10:30 and we arrived here around 1. After a nice break we decided to go even farther to about 6,000m. It was great, very good for our acclimatization.

Now we are on our way down to spend a night at Atacama Base Camp.
